Backend Developer (Java / Spring Boot)

We are looking for a Backend Developer in Riyadh with strong Java and Spring Boot experience to build scalable services for enterprise and government-sector clients. You will design microservices, integrations and secure APIs that run critical business workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop backend services and microservices in Java
  • Build and document secure, versioned APIs
  • Integrate with ERP, payment gateways and government platforms
  • Model data and write efficient queries and migrations
  • Write unit and integration tests and maintain code quality
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and improve production services
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design

Requirements

  • 4+ years of backend development experience with Java (11 or later)
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA and Spring Security
  • Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle or MySQL)
  • Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and OAuth2/JWT
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
