Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer in Riyadh to build reliable data pipelines, warehouses and reporting foundations for our clients' ERP, sales and operations data. Your work will feed dashboards, analytics and AI solutions across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build batch and streaming data pipelines
  • Integrate data from ERP, CRM, e-commerce and operational systems
  • Build and maintain data warehouse models and marts
  • Ensure data quality with validation, testing and monitoring
  • Prepare datasets for BI dashboards and machine learning
  • Apply access controls and privacy rules to sensitive data
  • Document data flows, definitions and lineage

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend data work
  • Advanced SQL and strong Python skills
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines with Airflow, dbt or similar tools
  • Experience with data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift or PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with Spark, Kafka or streaming data is a plus
  • Understanding of data modelling (star schema, dimensional modelling)
  • Awareness of data governance and the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL)
