Python Backend Developer (Django / FastAPI)

Cortex Solutions is hiring a Python Backend Developer in Riyadh to build APIs, automation services and ERP integrations with Django and FastAPI. You will work close to our AI and data teams on services that power real business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Python backend services and APIs
  • Build integrations between ERP, CRM, e-commerce and payment systems
  • Implement background jobs, scheduled tasks and data pipelines
  • Expose AI and automation features through reliable services
  • Write clean, tested and well-documented code
  • Investigate and fix production issues
  • Take part in architecture discussions and code reviews

Requirements

  • 3+ years of backend development experience with Python
  • Strong experience with Django / Django REST Framework or FastAPI
  • Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and the Django ORM or SQLAlchemy
  • Experience with background jobs (Celery, RQ) and Redis
  • Experience integrating ERP systems and third-party APIs
  • Familiarity with Docker, Linux and Git
  • Experience writing tests with pytest
